during the middle of the service

• New Series Begins March 30th - A new six-week discussion series on Sundays at 6:00pm
  • Good God Questions:
    • Sometimes questions about God are hard to ask and even harder to answer.  Join with Pastor Terry, Professors from Luther Seminary (on DVD), and your fellow travelers in the faith as we explore some very important issues.  Here’s the schedule:
      • March 30th: Why Does God Allow Suffering?
      • April 6th: What are Bad Answers to Suffering?
      • April 13th: What Are Some Personal Answers to Suffering?
      • April 20th: Do Jews, Muslims, and Christians Worship the Same God?
      • April 27th: Why Did Jesus Have to Die?
      • May 4th: How Do I Know God’s Will For My Life?

• Sign Chi Do (The Art of Moving Prayer) – Starting on April 3rd at 6:30 pm
  • Are you ready to stimulate your mind, body, and spirit?
  • Have too much stress in your life and don’t know what to do about it? 
  • Feel like you’re missing something in your prayer life? 
  • What is Sign Chi Do (The Art of Moving Prayer)?
    • It integrates relaxing movement and breathing with the use of sign gestures.  “It can also be called ‘moving language’ because it engages all parts of the brain.”  Adding sign gestures to gentle movement, breath work and visualization allows people to engage their minds and express emotion while exercising.  Participants practice the postures and signs in relaxing, repetitive movements.  The postures increase oxygen flow in the blood while decreasing strain on joints and ligaments that support the body.
  • No experience necessary and the exercise program can be accommodated for all fitness levels.
  • So come out and join us for the God Bless America Series.  Carol Savoie will be leading the course.
  • The class will meet in the Sanctuary on Thursdays at 6:30pm beginning April 3rd

  • If you would like to help with the planning of this wonderful community outreach program and further faith formation of our church's youth, please contact Donna Bulno.
  • We will have several areas in which lots of helpers will be needed; even if you are only able to volunteer one or two nights of the program.....we can use you!

Adult Forum topics for April.
Please join us on Sundays at 9:15am as we grow in our faith!

• Sunday, April 27th
  • Hospice Chaplain Lee Arp will be our speaker during the Adult Forum. His topic will be “Supporting the Grief and Loss in Faith Communities”. This presentation increases our understanding of normal, healthy, grief and mourning.  It includes spiritual dimensions of grieving and offers some effective supportive approaches for those in the faith community.  Please make plans to join us.
